About The Opportunity

The TPN team is growing, and we are looking for a motivated, tenacious and driven Business Development Manager to join our team. We are now looking for somebody to drive the growth of our NEW, sustainable recruitment division, offering exec level recruitment methodologies to the Northamptonshire and local market. For each successful placement, we donate a percentage of the fee to a global reforestation project, allowing our clients to offset their carbon footprint and achieve their sustainability goals. We operate with very competitive fee's and can tailor packages to suit all clients so there are plenty of hooks to garner your client’s attention.

The role holder will be responsible for the Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire commercial market. Developing new business opportunities with key decision makers in local companies. Positions you will looking to bring on include, administration, sales, marketing, IT, business support, operations, customer service, finance, and more, this may be entry level up to C' Suite. Your key responsibilities will be to develop and manage a pipeline of new clients ensuring a consistent flow of new roles that can be provided to a team of resourcer’s. You will work closely with our Head of Commercial Operations to create a strategy of growth within your market - identifying new clients and target markets. This is a great opportunity to build something different and may include leadership opportunities in the future.


  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand our customer base and drive revenue growth
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events
  • Lead the negotiation and closing of high-value deals and contracts
  • Develop a network of key decision makers who are responsible for hiring within your chosen companies.
  • Negotiation of commercial terms
  • Work towards and achieve KPI’s and monetary targets
  • Compete in our pool tournaments and weekly quizzes, whilst offering to make the occasional cuppa!

About You

  • Proven experience in B2B New Business Development or Sales roles
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with a passion for achieving results
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office application

Salary up to £40,000 DOE
