As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you'll take the lead in building and optimizing mobile applications, ensuring they are high-quality, scalable, and user-focused while driving innovation and collaboration across teams.


Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain exceptional mobile applications using React Native and best practices 
  • Shape architectural decisions, participate in code reviews, and lead technical improvements 
  • Automate build and release processes to streamline delivery and ensure rapid feedback 
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Platform teams to deliver user-focused solutions 
  • Champion quality, automation, and learning through agile practices and technical discussions 
  • Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and encouraging best practices 
  • Participate in and, at times, lead team ceremonies, and the assessment and estimation of work. 
  • Contribute to the improvement of software development lifecycle processes. 
  • Participate in and, at times, facilitate Engineering Dojos

About You

  • 5+ years in mobile development with expertise in React Native and TypeScript/JavaScript. Knowledge of iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Java/Kotlin) is a plus 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in design patterns (SOLID, MVVM), testing (TDD/BDD), and automation tools like GitHub Actions 
  • Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making skills and the ability to navigate complex challenges
  • Collaboration: Proven success working with remote, global teams and cross-functional partners 
  • Commitment to Growth: A passion for continuous learning and staying ahead in mobile technology trends Solid grasp of software design patterns (e.g., SOLID, Strategy/Observer/Facade) and both object oriented and functional programming also a plus.

Salary

Salary up to £90,000 plus commission and equity
